The 24th edition of the UNITY LINE ‘We Are POLSCA’ Regatta in memory of Piotr Waszczenko – one of the most important sailing events on the Baltic Sea – will take place from 1 to 5 July 2026. This year’s edition brings two significant changes to the event’s long-standing tradition: for the first time, the regatta will take place in July (rather than August), and for the first time, all starts and finishes will be located in a single port – Świnoujście.
The choice of Świnoujście as the regatta base is no coincidence. It is one of the key ports in the southern Baltic Sea, having served for years as a strategic gateway between Poland and Scandinavia. In the context of the regatta, this means not only excellent technical and logistical facilities, but also a clear and attractive starting point for routes heading north. For fans and observers, this change is particularly significant – all stages of the competition, from preparations, through the start, right up to the yachts’ return, will be concentrated in one place.
The organisers encourage everyone to take part in the event and watch the competition from shore.
On 2 July at 9.00 am, the regatta will be officially opened in the presence of representatives from Świnoujście City Council. The first yachts will then set off on the POLSCA Extreme Race 2026 course and in the other sailing categories.
3 July – another day of sailing competition, and in the afternoon at the regatta village in the Jerzy Porębski Marina in Świnoujście, visitors will be able to see demonstrations of the latest Mercedes cars and speak to the brand’s sales representatives.
4 July marks the final races and the conclusion of the Extreme route
5 July – the sailors will set sail from Świnoujście, bringing the entire event to a close.
