Over four consecutive Fridays, attendees will be able to enjoy concerts performed by outstanding Polish artists – organists and guest instrumentalists. The organisers invite you to experience classical music in the unique atmosphere of Świnoujście’s churches, where the ‘royal instrument’ will showcase the full extent of its capabilities.
For years, the “Świnoujście Organ Evenings” have demonstrated that classical music need not be confined solely to concert halls and large venues. The intimate atmosphere of the churches, the summer ambience and the high artistic standard mean that the event has a loyal following and remains one of the city’s most recognisable summer festivals.
All concerts begin at 7.00 pm, and admission is free.
3 July – this year’s festival begins at 7.00 pm with a concert at the Church of St Stanislaus and St Boniface the Martyr, 9 Henryka Siemiradzkiego Street. Roman Perucki (organ) and Łukasz Długosz (flute) will perform for the audience. This combination of the organ’s monumental sound with the subtle and expressive tones of the flute promises a unique start to the musical series.
10 July – the concert will move to the Sanctuary of Christ the King at 1 Kościelny Square. The performers will be Filip Kamiński (organ) and Wojciech Korzeniewski (cello).
17 July – The audience will hear an interesting and unusual combination of instruments – Alina Mleczko (saxophone) and Piotr Rachoń (organ).
24 July – the finale and final concert of the festival will be an organ recital performed by Adam Klarecki.
